After School Support Services

Tuesdays 4:45-6:15PM

• Students must be enrolled so a tutor can be assigned
• We increase out of class reading, spelling, and math time for elementary youth
• Instruction in Study and test techniques provided
• Encouragement to learn to do well and to seek one's personal best provided

What I like about After School.....

I think it is cool because they help you with your homework. The college people come to help and when we are finished we get to play. We pray that God can always look over us when we do tutoring and be thankful and successful and achieve by doing our work and having a great Spring.

I think the tutoring program works so well because it gives the kids one-to-one attention without the pressure of the classroom. When they have the chance to ask a lot of questions and work at their own pace, they can usually figure it out for themselves, and what they’re learning really sticks. Besides – it’s fun!
